Google is keeping the same attitude of information leaks if we talk about the Pixel smartphone. Once again, the upcoming Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G are revealed with the live images along with the hardware specifications.
Due to the leaked, both new Pixel smartphones will be rather shipped with the mid-range Qualcomm chipset, Snapdragon 765G than Snapdragon 865 or 865+. It seems Google wants to adjust the price of its smartphone to get low-cost as possible in this Covid-19 season for reaching more ranges of users.
Google Pixel 5
As it’s shown through the leak, it mentions the presence of the Snapdragon 765G chipset and set to have a 90Hz display, up to 8GB RAM, and a modest 4,000mAh battery. In terms of build quality, this time around the company appears to have been using plastic instead of glass. Both devices have a physical fingerprint scanner at the back. However, unlike the mid-range Pixel 4a, you won't get the 3.5 mm headphone jack (but why?).
About its camera hardware, Pixel 5 will feature a main 12.2MP camera and a 0.5x wide-angle lens and no telephoto lens found on the Pixel 4 while its selfie camera will be 8MP.
Google Pixel 4a 5G
Talk about Pixel 4a 5G, the same Snapdragon 765G chipset is claimed to be its chipset too. Lower than the Pixel 5, it will come with 6GB of RAM, a standard 60Hz display, and the physical fingerprint scanner. But it’s weird the Pixel 4a 5G is said to retain the headphone jack. Its battery capacity will be lower than the Pixel 5 with 3800mAh. Else, the cameras setup will be the same as the Pixel 5.
These Google’s smartphones are expected to come soon as the company also confirmed their price that will start at $499 in the US. The leak seems to be true, but until the official information has not been announced, we should judge later after the official one comes.
