Here's you should know about Galaxy Z Flip and hands-on video leaks

Is Galaxy Z Flip hyped to see?

Galaxy Fold did make its great debut for everyone, but it didn't get users a practical device yet. Now February just started with its second day and you'll probably be reminded what is going to happen soon such as MWC 2020 and Samsung Unpacked Event.

Ahead of MWC 2020, the Unpacked event will take place to bring up its next flagship Galaxy S20 series along with its next-gen foldable phone. The 2nd-gen foldable phone is believed to come up with the flip design, keep it horizontally folded rather than vertically folded from the previous one. February 11, 2020, will arrive soon to unpack new devices.

The flip smartphone that has been coming first is Motorola Razr, unfortunately, its official launch is delayed due to unexpected pre-order numbers.

Samsung’s foldable ambitions kicked off last year with the Galaxy Fold, which might be folded hospitable a tablet form factor. it had been a leap in terms of smartphone design but the corporation is now pushing out a clamshell form factor with its second foldable. The phone itself looks almost like the Moto Razr foldable that launched earlier last year and unfolds into a typical phone form factor rather than a tablet, which some might find more appealing.

Just recently, a hands-on video also leaked online to show us a real look at how its flip design works. As you see in the video, you may notice some main points of improvement on this flip smartphone.

- An enhanced hinge feature that lets you close the Z Flip shut down flat – no gaps in between.

- A protective black plastic runs around the display, similar to the Galaxy Fold but with bumpers to protect the foldable panel further.

- A Focus panel that goes for a 1.05-inch Super AMOLED panel and will show the time, notifications, and viewfinder needed to take high-resistance selfies.

- A 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a taller aspect ratio of 22:9 and punch-hole design is expected to feature Galaxy Z Flip when unfolding. Its display ratio is wider than what you see in the existing Sony Xperia 1 and upcoming unknown Xperia.

Let's jump to the spec section. The Galaxy Z Flip will be launched as a mid-range device that appears the same as the Motorola Razr. This 2nd-gen foldable-but-flip smartphone will be powered by the outdated Snapdragon 855 Plus, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage are implemented inside. 5G connectivity will probably leave the Galaxy Z Flip behind. As a rumor, its renders show us dual-cameras outside and a single camera inside. The duals pack the main dual-aperture 12MP (f/1.8-f/2.4) lens and the ultra-wide 12MP (f/2.2) sensor. You would hope to find a selfie snapper with 10MP (f/2.4) on board too. Due to its design, we can imagine how big is the battery size. The rumor also reveals that the flip smartphone will house a 3300 mAh with two separate placements, one is 2375 mAh and another is 925mAh.

Besides the specs, let's mention that Samsung will optimize the software to work with the new folding design in sync. It will lock in two positions, at 180-degree full-open and 90-degree half-open. OneUI 2.0 will be updated to make the latter position useful for video calls or odd angle capture of images.

Last, how about its price? you may know about the Motorola Razr coming with its high price tag for just only being on a position as mid-ranger whereas you can assume the same on Galaxy Z Flip. This may happen because of their effort to bring up this type of foldable design over the normal flat one.
