League of Legends coming to mobile in 2020 as Wild Rift

A competitive 5v5 from League of Legends in PC will land to Android and iOS soon and you can pre-register now.

A well-known MOBA game by Riot Games, League of Legends, will come to mobile and consoles in 2020. This League of Legends will let you dive into a 5v5 gameplay the same as its original one in PC for the new platform as League of Legends: Wild Rift.

LoL: Wild Rift Pre-Alpha

Riot Games just dropped its video trailer from pre-alpha footage gameplay. The developer said Wild Rift will be rebuilt from scratch. It means the whole thing will be new, but its core gameplay you've seen in the PC version will be kept for new adopted platforms.

Due to its revision for mobile and consoles, Wild Rift will not be cross-platform between PC and mobile/console. Otherwise, you will probably see the possibility of cross-platform play between mobile and consoles. But everything should be confirmed later.

The upcoming MOBA for mobile enables faster 15-18 minute matches and features an intuitive twin-stick control scheme. You will find that Wild Rift will bring you a brand new map to explore, though, including the use of an original 5v5 map. It will feature the characters from League of Legends in PC as well.

Riot Games plans to have the mobile version fully live everywhere in the world by the end of 2020, and followed by consoles coming later. It will be free to download and play. Riot Games is going to begin the process of rolling alphas and betas through the end of the year, starting in China. You can get it updates through pre-register on the Play Store for your Android devices if you have, unfortunately, it's unavailable on iOS right now.
