Sony has officially announced it will hold a launch event at CES 2020 where it will reveal items whose name is still undisclosed. The company's statement suggests "At CES 2020 Sony is unveiling a unique vision of the future, bringing creativity and technology together like never before, to unleash new sensations and emotions".
At CES, you'll get a detailed look at all the new consumer technology such as televisions, tablets, audio equipment, and other gadgets. New smartphones are also sometimes unveiled at CES, with most manufacturers anticipating the MWC trade show at the end of February. Therefore, Sony is expected to launch Xperia 3 flagship this year, but the company usually releases its phones at MWC rather than at CES.
What do we expect from Sony? Sony's next-generation game console, PlayStation 5, will have a great opportunity to appear at this event. The Japanese tech giant also focused on its audio products such as its new external woofer and WH-1000X headset series that we saw at Sony CES last year. At the same time, Sony also revealed its 8K TV. We can subsequently assume that Sony may bring the updated version of those products. Even more, Sony may showcase integrating its 5G technology into its products as well.
Sony CES 2020 Press Conference will be held on January 6 at 5 PM PST in Las Vegas. You can watch the live stream on the company’s official website for Sony's CES 2020.
