OnePlus normally announces its non-T phones during the springtime. The most recent non-T variant, the OnePlus 7 Pro, launched in May 2019. As such, the OnePlus 8 Pro could be poised for a spring 2020 launch.
OnePlus 7 Pro was unveiled earlier this year with a Fluid AMOLED screen that the higher 90hz refresh rate technology started to go mainstream. A couple months ago Asus ROG Phone 2, which launched in India was the world’s first smartphone to debut with a 120Hz AMOLED panel. A cryptic tweet posted by Max J “Be a pro,” which hints that OnePlus 8 Pro will come equipped with a super smooth 120Hz display panel.
We'd also expect the OnePlus 8 models - or at least the Pro model - to offer 5G capabilities. For the Camera, The OnePlus 7T has a round camera lodging on the back, while the OnePlus 7T Pro has a vertical lodging. OnePlus 8 models were proposed by Renders that it will decide on the vertical camera lodging structure and the leak also showed a triple camera setup, a speaker grille next to the USB-C port, and an LED flash below the rear cameras. We anticipate that the alert slider should remain and we expect an excellent form quality as well.
With respect to other features, the buyer can hope to locate Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 865 alongside 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
